While taking in the beauty of Punalu’u Black Sand Beach, Hawaii, I witnessed a unique wave crashing on the lava-formed rock. The water hung in the air with an unexpected shape. The ocean had amazingly created a perfect heart wave and the inspiration had sparked to express this lively scene on canvas.
