The Monroe Street Bridge is an iconic landmark in Spokane, WA. This painting of the bridge is a glimpse into the past, before the concrete park and suspended gondolas were added. I wanted the color scheme of this painting to look historic so I utilized a paint mixing trick to achieve subdued color uniformity. I mixed one base gray which was added to every other color to achieve this vintage look.
